Junior competitions entries open for 2025-26

U18 Grand Prix series
This year the first round of the U18 Junior Grand Prix Series will start using the teams National Rankings from 24-25.
All teams will play five rounds of competition, and we will continue with the relegation and promotion each round allowing teams to climb the rankings into the nationally-based pools.
The entry is capped at 64 teams. Clubs beyond that will be placed on a waiting list until there are four more teams to make a full pool. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Teams will be divided into Super Series, Gold, Silver and Bronze Pools, depending on their national rankings.
The Super Series final round will be a Last 6, with two pools of three and a crossover semi-final to find the two Cup Finalists. Teams placed seventh to 14th will play for the Gold Cup, 15th to 22nd will play for the Silver Cup and 23rd to 30th will play for the Bronze Cup.
Teams below these pools will be placed in more regionally-based pools which will be tiered depending on numbers and performance. Teams winning the National 2 pools will be promoted to the Bronze Pools, while teams finishing third and fourth in the Bronze pools will be relegated to National 2.

The entry deadline is Monday 8th September at midnight.

U16 Grand Prix Series
The U16 Junior Grand Prix series will comprise of four rounds of competition split into the Tier 1 and Tier 2 format.
Tier 1 is for experienced teams wanting to compete at a National Level. Teams will be ranked from their U15 performances from the previous year, with pools in Round 1 more regionally-based before moving into Gold, Silver and Bronze pools from Round 2.
There are no byes into Round 2 this year all teams will compete in Round 1.
In the final round a Last 6s will be contested by the top-ranked teams, with two pools of three and a crossover semi-final deciding the two Cup Finalists. Teams placed seventh and below will play for the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Cups (depending on entry numbers).
The entry is capped at 32 teams. Clubs beyond that will be placed on a waiting list until there are four more teams to make a full pool. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Tier 2 is for less experienced teams wanting to play competitive matches within a regionalised area to minimise travel. Each Grand Prix is a standalone competition and does not give teams any National Ranking points.
Tier 2 teams have the option to enter all four Grand Prix at the start of the season with one payment, or per each Grand Prix, as in previous years.
The entry deadline is Monday 29th September at midnight both to enter Tier 1 and for the first Grand Prix of Tier 2.
U15 Grand Prix Series
The U15 Tier 1 Junior Grand Prix Series starts in January and has three rounds of competition concluding in March.
The entry is capped at 32 teams. Clubs beyond that will be placed on a waiting list until there are four more teams to make a full pool. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
The entry deadline is Monday 1st December at midnight.
U15/U14 Tier 2 4v4 Grand Prix
Four rounds of the U15/U14 Tier 2 4v4 competition will start in November, with the hope that some of these teams will be encouraged to enter the U15 Tier 1 Junior Grand Prix series after Christmas.
Volleyball England would encourage regions to continue the U15/U14 Tier 2 4v4 opportunities for their local clubs in 2025-26 when the Tier 1 competitions are being played nationally.
The U15 and U14 age groups for Tier 2 4v4 have been brought together for 2025-26. This enables more teams to play in a closer geographical location, making the opportunity more accessible.
The entry deadline for the first Tier 2 Grand Prix is Monday 22nd September at midnight.
Host a Grand Prix
With the exception of Super Series, all Grand Prix are hosted by one of the teams. Without these volunteers, the competitions would not be able to go ahead.
If you would like to volunteer to host, please register your interest in the Hosting Junior Competitions form attached before 1st September 2025.
